President Bidya Devi Bhandari has approved the resignation rendered by Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli on Sunday. Speaker House Onsari Gharti, at the third meeting of the Legislature-Parliament

meeting, on Sunday, informed that the letter sent by the Office of President confirmed the approval of PM’s resignation. With the approval from the President, Speaker Gharti said that the remaining process of the vote of no-confidence against the PM need not be preceded further. A total of 281 parliamentarians had signed on the vote of no-confidence motion and was tabled in the parliament for deliberations since Friday.
